The difining difference beteween chartering a yacht for a vacation and doing anything else is ''the quality of light''.  Wheather you are snorkling, eating on the aft deck at the dock, or looking at the horizon while underway, ''the quality of light is unmatched anywhere on the planet.

Cuba

Best Times: December - May.

Cuba is a beautiful location, untrampled and unexplored, a true gem of a place trapped in time.  The untainted landscape is free from corporate franchises and monotone modernizations.   Incredible  achitecture and stunning scenery is unlike any other place in the region.  If you're well traveled, spending more time aloft in flight to get to a new places, Cuba just might be the remote unchanged place under your nose that you have'nt seen.   Every trip is an educational experience.

One week voyages from S. Florida, start at $35,000 aboard 65'+ private yachts.

Bimini  Islaands, Bahamas
Best Times: December - May.

This beautiful location is just 50 miles off the coast of Florida, norh of seemingly endless, stretching 67 miles, Cay SAl Bank a district of the Bimini Islands. North Bimini stretching 7 miles in a sliver 7 miles long with a width of less than 800 feet.  Alice Town is a very small quiet town in the area to explore small stores and places to eat.

South Bimini, unlike North Bimini and Cay Sal Bank, has more of a heart beat with tourism, entertainment and a small airport.   The population of the entire island is only a couple thousand.

 Miami
Best time: December - May.
The waters between Miami main land and Miami beach are very protected waters with Monument Island as a nice beach to swim. Star Island, which has many celebrity homes owned by Michael Robinson, Gloria Estefan, Shaquille O'neal, Elizabeth Taylor, Carlos Corea, Philip Frost, Puff Daddy, to name a few, is a realtors dream. An undeveloped site on star island could fetch 8 million.  Fisher Island to the South is scenic to pass before heading out to sea or back in along the large ship loading piers.  Steaming up the Miami river or up the inner coast are some alternatives very close by.  These trips can be short since our boats are located in the Miami area.

Nassau Island
Best time: December - May.

Nassau is 21 miles wide with a population of a little less than a population of a quarter million.  The main harbor to the North is sheltered by Paradise Island that was developed to meet your imaginations best work in reality.  The shops and restaurants are a nice contrast to the beaches that encircle the island.

The Exumas, are 35 miles south of Nasssa with incredibly clear waters and beaches that seem as though they have never been stepped upon.

Mid Coast - Maine

Cruising the Coast of Maine,

The New England Coast line gets much more interesting north of Portland. The Maine Coastline consists of 150,000 islands and fingering peninsulas that start to begin heading North of Portland.

Casco Bay- city of Portland, is abundant with award winning restaurants that serve some of the best food in New England. This historic seaport has great architecture, parks, bike, shops, theatre and musical events. Several islands and outlying mainland areas provide a large area of sheltered waters for day sailing and cruising.  Seas are seldom above a 2' chop.  The 1860 Fort Gorges and Portland harbor light house are a couple photo attractions that the community is proud of.

Muscongus Bay

Boothbay a safe harbor at the outer reaches of a paninsula, with a lively little town, tightly packed along the shore with a strong focus on tourism.  Pemaquid light, marshall point light and Franklin island light  are some of the light house attractions in the area.  Up the Kennebec river, with lush forested shores, lyes the city of Bath where Maine's most modern large Naval ships are being constructed.  On the Northern end of the bay is St. George harbor, a very devoted fishing harbor, packed full of lobster boats.  If you like lobster with no frills this is the spot, along with many other lobsters shacks in towns very close by.  Cruising North of the St. George is the Muscle Ridge channel, littered with many thick spruce stands, on stone ledge shored islands.

Penobscott Bay

Rockland is a deep water harbor known as a transportation hub, buses, small flights and ferries go in and out of the area.  Walking the one mile long break is a great activity ashore.  This small town with an industrial history has gained many interests in the arts, and food. Many of the  buidings have been restored and improved over the last 40 years.

Camden Maine

Camden, my personal favorite has not changed much architecturally in the last 100 years, with many buildings house, hotels, great cafes, restaurants, book stores, and art galleries.  The Post office, grocery store and other amenities are within a couple city blocks distance.  Geographically, Camden has many of the qualities of Bar Harbor, without the publicity, and all within 2 miles.  Traffic fills main street, and yet a few blocks away from the center of town, the chaos of crowds are gone. The lake, mountains, and harbor island, are not publicized to explorers; there is no bus parking or docks for tour boats to shuttle people to these quiet places in the area.  Why you might ask?  We just don't want it and the impacts to accommodate the masses would undoubtably be too great.  Curtis Island shelters Camden harbor nicely, making it a very romantic adventure close by and Curtis Island light house make a great photo opportunity. Or take the kids out there and tell them about the hidden treasure? You should have the island to yourself, since you'll need you're own boat or one we provide.   A wide strip of grass is mowed with a view to the NW of Mt. Battie a focal point that steeply rises from town, crowned with a land mark stone tower.  Ashore ascending the mountain on foot, allows the best views and there is a road if you prefer to drive; transportation can be arranged.  Megunticook lake is a couple miles inland with steep cliffs that nearly drop into the lake.  Its a common destination for experienced rock climbers in the area.  Exiting Camden Harbor by boat to the North East , 4 miles, is a string of Islands that inhabit residents year round, Islesboro, North Haven, and Vinal Haven.  These larger Island in Penobscott Bay are communities shared by traditional lobstermen and summer home vacationers.  Many coves and smaller islands surround these land masses. The Fox Island thoroughfare is scenic way to bisect these islands to enter Frenchman's Bay.  The White Islands, horse shoe in shape with white stone shores make a great day trip from Camden.
